About
Like millions of others, we found ourselves flip flopping our way through colorful clothing boutiques while enjoying our stay on Maui. We came across fantastic pieces from Paia, Kihei, and down to The Shops at Wailea. There was only one thing that eluded our carry-on back to the mainland: Our Perfect Hawaiian Hoodie. We even perused a few ABC stores, and found some useful trinkets, but not “the hoodie of our dreams.” On another blissful journey across the isles we scoured the iconic Ala Moana Center for hours holding off the warm humid rain of Honolulu. We made it out with an awesome set of matching pineapple Tee’s, a fabulous fedora, and the best set of black leather flips I’ve ever bought. But not “the right hoodie.” The fresh poke and soju from Foodland Farms fortified us for further exploration. East along the chain we searched high and low, from Hanalei Bay to The Shops at Kukui‘ula in Poipu. The rare clear blue skies of Kauai calmed and rejuvenated our hearts. Yet as we exited the tarmac at PDX our luggage was void of the very hoodie we had intended to find. Being the creative types that we are, we took matters into our own hands, and finally after a 16 year long search, we are endeavoring to create “Our Perfect Hawaiian Hoodie.” It’s luxurious yet simple. Only The Hawaiian Islands front and center on both sides in the classic red Hawaiian t-shirt floral pattern. The “Classic Hawaiian Islands" hoodie beautifully highlights the islands we love and hold so dear. We are excited to share this first design with you. Now that we are in the prosses our brains are percolating like a Kona pour-over with casual South Pacific surf wear styles harmonizing vibes from the PNW, across Hawaii, all the way to South Korea. We're excited to hear your thoughts on our new designs as they're released. Keep an eye out, there's plenty more in store for you.

We don’t live with our heads in the sand, we live with our feet in the sand, literally and metaphorically. Not every day is going to be sunny, but every day there is something delightful and funny. We all have goals and places we want to be and see. Yet we enjoy the section we are currently living in. We are present to the joys of the here and now. Savoring the time between sets with our friends outside the break. With gratitude in our hearts, we cherish what we already have, and in return what we have flourishes and grows to exceed our expectations! Wherever you wear Mahalo Wear the sun too is there.
Vision
"Hometown Cha Cha Cha" expanded our horizons further west to the Land of the Rising Sun and beyond. With the surf scene soaring across the Pacific Ocean, we were delighted to recognize the common bonds and similarities that unite us: great coffee, culinary culture and community. Where just like us in the PNW, brave men and women, even boys and girls never hesitate to squeeze into a wetsuit when the peaks are breaking. And are always eager to head south to warmer waters! From Jeju to Bali, Fiji to Tahiti and back up to Hawaii. Filled with gratitude, we embrace the challenge of learning Korean. It's a tough but thrilling journey that's creatively shaping our styles in delightful ways. Together we all have the possibility of living a full Mahalo Life!
